I believe that it's important to optimize everything and anything that can be optimized. Covering all bases is vital because you can never know what people will be typing in the search engines and what will come up for them. You have a much greater chance of increasing website traffic when you go the whole nine yards with optimizing your website. Doug, You also have a great point.
