B2B Gifts That Help You to Stay In Front Of Clients

by Michelle Salater on December 9, 2009

Budgets may be tight, but that’s no excuse to avoid business to business gift giving this holiday season. After all, gifts are the perfect way to show your appreciation.

Gifts don’t have to cost a ton. In fact, many companies have policies that prohibit them from accepting a gift that exceeds a certain price–a price that’s usually fairly low. Because gifts symbolize a tangible ‘thank you,’ your business has the ability to physically stay in front of them. For example, if you purchased a bottle of wine for a client, he or she may place it in a wine cabinet or on the table for dinner. Your business is in front of them. How simple was that?

Below are four local Charleston, South Carolina, companies that offer the perfect business to business gift this holiday season. We asked the owners to tell us, in their own words, why companies should purchase gifts from them this holiday season.

CAFE_MEDLEY_COLOR[1]Cafe Medley: “Cafe Medley is the perfect one-stop-shop for your Holiday Gift needs! Gourmet coffee, boutique wines, specialty beers, sweets, treats, and assorted gift items for ANY type of Holiday Gift. Put together your own gift basket or allow our experts to create one to fit ALL price ranges and styles. Gift certificates and memberships to our Wine Club are also available to make this Holiday season’s gifts easy and unique.”

We make great gifts not just for clients but also for employees (wouldn’t you rather them focus on your company during business hours?). Keep in mind that if you decide to buy something else for your clients, YuDu offers businesses a range of gift certificates from $25 to $100 that they can give their clients or employees for services which range from simple errands (grocery shopping and mailings) to more involved tasks like party planning and meeting contractors. YuDu will be happy to deliver and / or mail gift certificates to clients or employees as well as deliver other types of corporate gifts on behalf of the company.”

They are gifts that can be given to an entire office to share. Chocolate seems to be so simple, but when your clients see these pieces of hand-painted art, they will feel like much time and thought went into the search for the perfect gift.”

Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier for sure and I am loving the idea of Yudu gift certificates! I have also bought these really nice affordable scarves at Zinnia in Belle Hall!

Thanks for the ideas Michelle! I’ve been using Yudu for the last few months. They are great and have allowed me to have the time to get other things done. And I can’t drive past the Ion without stopping to get choclate from Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier! I’m looking forward to their downtown store too!

Amy, I’ve heard about the scarves from Zinnia. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for the post.
